The blaze began around 9:47 a.m. when a Toyota RAV4 caught fire on the fifth floor, subsequently spreading to at least two or three nearby vehicles. Thick black smoke was visible throughout the park and surrounding areas, causing concern among visitors and staff.
Anaheim Fire and Rescue responded promptly, extinguishing the flames without any reported injuries. Both the Pixar Pals and adjacent Mickey & Friends parking structures were temporarily closed to incoming visitors as a precaution. By approximately 12:00 p.m., portions of the parking facilities were reopened, and control of the scene was returned to Disneyland management.
This incident follows a similar event at Walt Disney World’s Epcot park in Florida, where a backstage fire in the France pavilion occurred just days earlier. Videos of both incidents have circulated widely online, drawing public attention and concern. Disneyland representatives have yet to comment on the most recent fire.
